Pat's Cottage is within easy reach of the pretty Peak District villages and towns of Hathersage, Hope, Castleton, Baslow and Bakewell as well as Ladybower Reservoir, Chatsworth House and Hadden Hall. There is fine walking from the door in addition to the fabulous walks of the Peak District. The City of Sheffield is within easy reach. Dore village which is steeped in history is only about 5 minutes walk away. In the past a battle was fought here for England’s Crown.
